Services
Gentle, non-invasive care for the jaw and the whole body
Every plan of care is built around you. The services below are organized into four categories of care. They aren’t steps to follow in order: after a full assessment of your jaw, posture, breathing and sleep position, Dr. Grace draws from the categories that fit your needs.
01
TMJ, Cranial & Intraoral Care
02
Spinal, Pelvic & Extremity Alignment
03
Breathing & Posture Retraining
04
Recovery & Soft Tissue Care
01
TMJ, Cranial & Intraoral Care
Hands-on care for the jaw, skull and mouth, to restore comfortable, balanced movement.
CranioSacral Therapy
A light-touch approach to the skull, spine and surrounding tissues, used to ease tension and help the body settle.
Cranial
Gentle cranial adjustments from Sacro Occipital Technique, focused on how the skull and jaw move together.
Intraoral Care
Careful, gloved work inside the mouth to release tension in the jaw muscles.
Neural Manipulation
A gentle, hands-on approach that addresses tension around the nerves, including those of the face, jaw and neck, to support comfortable movement.
02
Spinal, Pelvic & Extremity Alignment
The jaw rests on everything beneath it. Aligning the spine, pelvis and joints gives it a stable foundation.
Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT)
A gentle full-spine method that uses supportive wedges beneath the pelvis to balance the body’s foundation.
Applied Kinesiology
Muscle testing used to assess how the body is responding and to guide each visit.
Extremity Adjustments
Care for the shoulders, hips, knees and feet, which shape posture from the ground up.
03
Breathing & Posture Retraining
How you breathe, hold your head and sleep shapes how your jaw feels. These approaches retrain all three.
Buteyko Breathing
A structured method for retraining everyday breathing toward calm, light, nasal breathing.
Nasal Specific Technique
A specialized technique using a small, briefly inflated balloon in the nasal passages, used to support nasal airflow.
Myofunctional Therapy
Exercises for the tongue, lips and face that support healthy tongue posture, nasal breathing and swallowing.
Posture Retraining
Practical guidance for daily positions—at your desk, on your phone and in the car.
Sleep Posture
A look at how you sleep, with guidance on sleeping position and pillow support to keep your head, neck and jaw relaxed through the night.
Mouth Taping
For patients who already breathe comfortably through the nose, gentle mouth tape may be introduced to encourage nasal breathing during sleep, with guidance on how to start safely.
04
Recovery & Soft Tissue Care
Gentle therapies that help calm swelling, support healing tissues and extend the benefits of hands-on care between visits.
Lymphatic Massage
Light, rhythmic massage that encourages lymph flow, often used to help ease swelling, including after dental or jaw surgery.
Low-Level Laser Therapy
Also called photobiomodulation: painless, low-intensity light used to help calm inflammation and support tissue recovery, with no heat and no downtime.
Kinesiology Taping
Gentle, stretchy tape applied where your body needs support, to ease tired muscles, encourage healthy posture, and help support circulation and lymphatic drainage.
Not sure where to start?
You don’t need to choose a therapy. Your first visit begins with a full assessment, and Dr. Cho will recommend the approaches best suited to you.
