What to expect

What to expect at your first visit

Your first visit is unhurried. It is a chance to share your history, understand what may be contributing to your symptoms, and leave with a clear picture of your options.

Step by step

How your first visit unfolds

1 Before your visit

Fill out the intake forms sent to you ahead of time, and gather any records from your dentist, orthodontist or surgeon that you would like to share.

2 Conversation

Dr. Grace begins by listening: your symptoms, your treatment history, and what you hope to change.

3 Assessment

A gentle evaluation of jaw movement, head and neck posture, spine and pelvis, breathing patterns, and sleep posture.

4 Your plan

At your second visit, Dr. Grace walks you through her findings and recommended plan, including how care may work alongside your other providers, and care begins.

Common questions

Before you book

Where do visits take place?

Dr. Grace is a mobile chiropractor. She brings everything needed for your visit to your home or workplace, and can also see you at your dentist’s or orthodontist’s office when care is coordinated.

Is the care painful?

Care is gentle and non-invasive. Dr. Grace checks in throughout, and you are always welcome to pause or ask questions.

Do I need a referral?

No. You are welcome to book directly. If you are working with a dentist or orthodontist, Dr. Grace is glad to coordinate with them.

Will this replace my dental or orthodontic treatment?

No. Care is designed to complement your other treatment, not replace it.

How many visits will I need?

It varies from person to person. After your assessment, Dr. Grace will recommend a plan and talk it through with you.

Can you help me with a decision about surgery?

Dr. Grace can help you understand non-invasive options and prepare thoughtful questions for your providers. Decisions about surgery are made with your surgical team.
